We are excited to introduce ourselves and share our mission with you. Rhodes' House Dog Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving misunderstood dogs a second chance at life. We focus on rescuing dogs who face challenges in a shelter environment, including those with behavioral issues. Through patience, training, and care, we will help them find the homes they deserve.
We’re thrilled to introduce Rhodes, our very first rescue. Rhodes was pulled from a shelter after being deemed unadoptable. Despite his label, Rhodes is now thriving and proving that with the right support, the majority of dogs can have a second chance.
Recently, we welcomed another special dog, Brutus. Like Rhodes, Brutus was also deemed unadoptable. But within 24 hours of leaving the shelter, he showed his playful goofy side and is on his way to becoming a wonderful companion.
At Rhodes' House, any dog that becomes a part of our rescue stays with us for several months, to give them time to decompress and just be a dog. This will help us ensure we understand their unique needs and find the best home for them. In some cases, these dogs will remain with us at Rhodes' House for the rest of their lives, receiving the care and love they deserve.
