Resident Dogs
These are the founding members of Rhodes House Dog Rescue
Sadie is a lively Boxer who some of you may recognize from her time at the Hastings Prince Edward Humane Society. (HSHPE) We had been fostering her, but made the decision with HSHPE to move her full time into our care. She loves people and gets along well with most dogs. Sadie is currently working on improving her manners as she has the personality of a linebacker, but is making great progress.
Wesley was previously under the care of Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue as a forever foster of Stephen. Wesley has officially joined Rhodes' House Dog Rescue to live out his senior years. We extend our gratitude to Bark at the Moon for ensuring Wesley was so well cared for and for trusting us to provide the structure and environment he needs to thrive.
Rhodes: Our first rescue and namesake. Rhodes has an exceptional ability to get along with all dogs, regardless of their temperament or style, and he continues to be a cornerstone of our mission.
Brutus has fully adjusted to life at our sanctuary, where he has the stability and structure he needs to thrive. He will remain a permanent resident of Rhodes' House. A special thanks to Tam at Quinterideforpaws for continuing to provide financial support for Brutus. We could not be supporting Brutus here without you.
